According to Lebel et al. (2024): "A species originally described from Europe. Cleland (1924) reidentified as A. ochrophylla material placed under A. strobiliformis by Cleland & Cheel (1914b). There is no evidence for the occurrence of A. strobiliformis in Australia and all records can be discounted as incorrect."
