Amanita section Caesareae. There is no evidence that A. hemibapha in the narrow sense of the type material occurs in Australia, but molecular evidence suggests that there are at least two distinct undescribed Australian taxa in Amanita section Caesareae (Sánchez-Ramírez et al. 2015)."
