Etymology:
"Named after Fannie Eleanor Williams (1884–1963), an Australia bacteriologist and serologist, whose research focussed on dysentery, influenza, tuberculosis, hydatid diseases and snake venom serology. Eleanor Williams co-founded Australia's first blood bank. In 1957, Eleanor Williams was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)."
