• Text: “L’epiteto Pseudobaeospora lamingtonensis Aberdeen, dell’ Australia, viene escluso in quanto rsulta essere relativo a una specie del Genere Sericeomyces Heinemnann come confermato da Contu (com. pers.); l’inserimento di tale species nel Genere Pseudobaeospora e stato verosimilmente operato in accoglimento della delimitazione dello stesso adottata da Locquin (1952) e inizialmente accettata da Singer (1975), la quaule, tuttavia, no e stat accolta dalla stragrande maggioranza dei tassonomists, tra I quali Horak (1964) e Bas (2004). [The species Pseudobaeospora lamingtonensis Aberdeen, from Australia, is excluded as it appears to be related to a species of the genus Sericeomyces Heinemnann as confirmed by Contu (pers. comm.); the inclusion of this species in the Genus Pseudobaeospora was probably based on the delimitation of the same adopted by Locquin (1952) and initially accepted by Singer (1975), which, however, was not accepted by the vast majority of taxonomists, including Horak (1964) and Bas (2004).]”
