Type:
"On both surfaces of midrib of fallen leaves of Loquat, Eriobotrya japonica, Lindl., Oct., near Melbourne. This specimen was brought under my notice by W. Niven, a student at the School of Horticulture, Burnley. It was found on dead fallen leaves, and as none could be found on the living leaves it was presumably a saprophyte."
